Welcome to the Play Chefs Fun With Food website, we hope we can share our enthusiasm for cooking with you and your children, and excite you about the fantastic, fun, hands-on cooking activities we have developed for them.

Melting, mixing, blending, tasting, whisking, baking, stirring, kneading, decorating, rolling, nibbling. Cooking is fun. Cooking is messy. Cooking is creative. What’s more, cooking is a fantastic learning experience too.

And it’s never too soon to introduce children to the endless enjoyment of experiencing new tastes, learning basic cooking skills and creating food to share with family and friends.

We are passionate about cooking. We know that children learn best when they are having fun. We are committed to helping children to start a lifelong interest in food and develop the confidence and skills to enjoy cooking. We have therefore created an extensive range of cooking based activities specially designed to appeal to children aged from 3 to 11 years old. What’s more Play Chefs is all about participation. Parents and guardians are encouraged to help their children during the activities so that they become unforgettable shared experiences.

Play Chefs offers fun with food workshops, one-off cooking events and of course birthday parties during which the children have lots of fun creating their very own party tea.  

We can also arrange activities for groups such as Rainbows, Cubs, Brownies, nurseries and mother & toddlers as well as working with primary schools to provide specialist external support to infant and junior classes as part of the national curriculum.
